This site will be dedicated to various arts – from painting, sculpture, architecture and so on. Art has been around us since the beginning of mankind, as evident by paintings found on cave walls, beads that have been dug up and so on.

So first of all what is “art”? In the dictionary the following is written:

“The expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power.”

Some of the main eras that interest me are Ancient Greek and Roman, Gothic, Impressionist, Modernist, Post-Modernist and a few more. I am mostly knowledgable in Architecture however, some of my favourite architects being Le Corbusier and Mies Van Der Rohe (ok so mainly Modernist stuff).
